The state government of Telangana has announced that all public and private schools will be closed tomorrow, September 2, due to severe weather conditions. This decision was made because a depression has recently crossed the coast of Telangana, leading to heavy rains and potential flooding. The Meteorological Department has forecasted more rain and possible floods in various districts over the next 24 hours.

Minister Ponguleti spoke to the press and explained that the closure of schools is for the safety of students. He also mentioned that all government employees must remain on duty, with all leaves being canceled. Officers and ministers are required to be on duty around the clock.

The minister advised citizens to be careful as many roads are currently flooded. He strongly recommended avoiding any attempts to cross flooded areas. People are urged to stay indoors unless it is absolutely necessary to go out, in order to stay safe during this bad weather.

As the rain continues, authorities are becoming more concerned about flooding and travel safety. Emergency response teams are getting ready to handle any situations that might arise in the coming days.
