    The Telangana government is planning to speed up the recruitment process in the police department. They also aim to establish residential schools for the children of police and RTC employees. The Chief Minister recently held a high-level review meeting on police recruitment, with several officials present including the Chief Secretary, DGP, and Chairman of Police Recruitment Board.

    During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the need for transparent and fair recruitment without any irregularities. He also instructed the officials to submit a report on the current recruitment process and address any issues that may arise. Additionally, he requested a report on all job recruitments made since the formation of Telangana State.

    The Chief Minister expressed his concern about the work pressure and long hours faced by the police and RTC employees. He instructed the officials to develop plans for special residential schools for their children, similar to Korukonda Sainik Schools. These schools will be established in North and South Telangana.

    Furthermore, the Chief Minister directed the DGP to immediately appoint home guards to better utilize their services in the police department. Home guard recruitment has been on hold for several years, and the Chief Minister assured that measures will be taken to meet their health, financial, and medical needs.

    Lastly, the DGP was instructed to involve home guards in regulating traffic in Hyderabad.
