Hyderabad: In a major move to stop illegal drug activities, the Telangana Police destroyed a large amount of cannabis (ganja) worth Rs. 37 crore. The operation took place on the outskirts of Hyderabad and is considered one of the biggest drug burnings in the state’s history.

The cannabis was collected during various anti-drug operations carried out across Telangana over the past year. Police said this action is part of their ongoing efforts to fight against the illegal drug trade, which remains a serious problem in many parts of the state.
