Hyderabad: Commuters in Hyderabad are advised to plan their travel in advance as the construction of a skywalk at Mehdipatnam will lead to major traffic diversions from December 19 to December 21.
According to traffic officials, the road stretch between Rethibowli Junction and SD Eye Hospital will remain closed to vehicular movement during the construction period. As a result, significant traffic congestion is expected on the surrounding roads and key junctions in the Mehdipatnam and Tolichowki areas.
Road Stretch to Be Avoided
Commuters are strongly advised to avoid the road stretch between Pillar Number 40 and Pillar Number 1 during the construction period, as this section will remain inaccessible.
Traffic authorities have cautioned that congestion may spill over to nearby routes due to the closure, and motorists should allow extra travel time or use alternate routes wherever possible.
