Hyderabad: The US Embassy and Consulates in India started the 2024 EducationUSA University fair series on Friday. The first event took place in Hyderabad.
Many students attended the fair to learn about studying in the United States. They were interested in undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
Alexander McLaren, the Public Affairs Officer at the US Consulate General in Hyderabad, was happy to see so many people at the event. He mentioned that the United States is a popular choice for Indian students who want a high-quality education. He also noted that many students in the US come from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, making Hyderabad a fitting place to start the fair.
At the event, students spoke directly with representatives from US universities. They got information about admissions, scholarships, and campus life. EducationUSA advisers and US Consulate officials were also available to help students understand the process of applying for a student visa.
