A family in Vijayawada has been trapped in their home for three days due to severe flooding. The house is near the YSR Junction’s Rythu Bazaar. The family includes young children, women, and elderly members. They have been stranded without access to food or drinking water.

One of the family members posted a video online, pleading for immediate help. They shared their frustration, saying that despite sending multiple messages and making calls to flood monitoring officials, there has been no response.

The government had appointed special officers to oversee flood-affected areas in Vijayawada. These officers are supposed to ensure that relief and rehabilitation efforts reach those in need. However, the family claims that these officials have not responded to their cries for help.
