In Aswapurm, women workers at Mega Company were suddenly fired after three years of working in Sitaramapuram village in Ashwapuram Mandal. The workers, along with leaders from CPI and AITUC, protested by staging a dharna at the main gate of the Sitarama project GM office.

They are demanding that the company immediately rehire the women workers without any delay. The sudden dismissal without any prior information has left the workers and their families in a difficult situation.
