₹28.67 crore sanctioned for tribal tanda development

The Congress government has approved ₹28.67 crore for the development of tribal tandas in Wanaparthy constituency. This funding aims to improve transportation and infrastructure in these areas. The funds have been sanctioned through different government orders, including ₹6 crore under GO RT No. 71, ₹12.60 crore under GO RT No. 37, and ₹10.07 crore under GO RT No. 38.

Local MLA Thudi Megha Reddy thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and other key leaders, including Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Seethakka, Incharge Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, District Minister Jupally Krishna Rao, and Nagarkurnool MP Dr. Mallu Ravi, for their support in securing these funds.

On Saturday, the MLA stated that the government is committed to resolving the long-standing issues faced by tribal communities. He highlighted the importance of better road connectivity and improved infrastructure in these regions.

For many years, tribal tandas have faced severe transportation problems due to poor roads. The MLA noted that the last major road development in these areas happened during the Indiramma Rajyam period.

He further added that under the current Congress government, there is a renewed focus on infrastructure development in tribal areas. The allocated funds will not only improve roads but also be used for upgrading community halls, enhancing schools, and constructing boundary walls for panchayat offices.
