In Kothagudem, 100 young people from Gundala mandal received driving licenses. This initiative was led by the local police under the guidance of Superintendent Rohith Raju, with support from transport officials.
District Additional SP (Operations) G Narendhar distributed the licenses on Monday. He emphasized the police’s commitment to assisting youth in tribal and agency areas.
The ASP highlighted plans to organize activities like sports events and medical camps. They also aim to provide job coaching. He noted concerns about some youths in these areas driving under the influence of alcohol, leading to fatal accidents.
Driving licenses will also be issued to youths in other agency areas across the district. Special recognition was given to Gundala inspector Ravinder and constable Shankar for their efforts in this initiative, supported by transport officials.
