Bandi Sanjay, the BJP State president, was arrested by police in connection with the circulation of SSC Hindi question papers on WhatsApp. Sanjay was granted conditional bail on April 6 and released on April 7. However, the Special Public Prosecutor (PP) M Satyanarayana Goud filed a petition in court on April 12 to cancel Sanjay’s bail and allow for police custody. The Special PP claimed that Sanjay was not cooperating with the police in the case inquiry and continued to make provocative speeches at his meetings. The Fourth Munsiff Magistrate Court Judge M Saritha will hear the case on April 18.

C Vidyasagar Reddy, Sanjay’s advocate, stated that he had not received any notice from the court. If they receive notice of the bail cancellation petition, they will file a counter.
