Hyderabad is expanding its new slot booking system for property registrations. Starting May 12, the system will be introduced in 25 more sub-registrar offices across the state. This follows a successful trial run in 22 offices last month.
Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy shared the update, emphasizing that the goal is to make the registration process faster and more convenient. The Stamps and Registration Department is rolling out these changes to reduce long wait times and make the system more efficient.
Earlier, people registering their properties had to stand in line for hours, often waiting outside in uncomfortable conditions. To fix this, the government began testing a time slot booking system. Citizens can now book specific times for their appointments, avoiding long queues.
By the end of next month, the system will be in place in all 144 sub-registrar offices across Telangana.
To handle the increased demand, the government is adding more staff. Offices with heavy workloads or more than 48 slots per day will receive additional sub-registrars. For example, the Qutbullapur office in Medchal Malkajgiri district has already received two extra sub-registrars and a support staff member.
Similar staffing upgrades are planned for Uppal, Maheshwaram, and Mancherial sub-registrar offices.
The department is also reorganizing office jurisdictions to manage the workload better. Areas with high and low traffic are being merged. So far, Champapet and Saroor Nagar in Rangareddy district, as well as Shadnagar and Farooq Nagar, and Siddipet and Siddipet (Rural), have been successfully combined.
From Monday, the slot booking system will go live in the following offices:
– Hyderabad R.O. Office
– Hyderabad R.O. Office South
– Narapalli
– Ghatkesar
– Malkajgiri
– Uppal
– Kapra
– Bibinagar
– Siddipet
– Siddipet Rural
– Gajwel
– Mancherial
– Peddapalli
– Warangal R.O. Office

– Narsampet
– Kalvakurthi
– Narayanpet
– Maheshwaram
– Rangareddy R.O. Office

The government aims to make property registration smoother, faster, and more organized for citizens across the state.
