Hyderabad is stepping up its fight against cyber threats through a powerful new partnership. The Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE) Hyderabad, Dikanz Company, and Haramain Sharifain University have joined forces to improve cyber defense and build talent in the field.
This collaboration comes at a crucial time. Cybercrime damages are expected to surpass $10.5 trillion every year by 2025, and India alone needs over 450,000 cybersecurity experts.
“We’re facing an urgent need for skilled professionals,” said Dr. Sriram Birudavolu, CEO of CCoE Hyderabad. “This initiative is perfectly timed to meet that challenge by combining innovation, education, and strong leadership.”
On Wednesday, CCoE and Dikanz Company signed an official agreement to launch this effort. Their goal is to boost cybersecurity skills, help startups grow, and encourage research across various industries.
The partnership focuses on five key areas:
– Empowering students through hands-on learning
– Supporting new startups with funding and mentorship
– Expanding global education programs
– Promoting research and innovation
– Closing the cyber talent gap
Programs like Cyber Diksha, Hackathons, and Cyber Security Ideathons will give students real-world experience. Selected startups will also receive help to grow in both the Indian and Middle Eastern markets.
Mohammed Naveed Khan, CEO of Dikanz Company, shared his excitement. “We’re not just improving security—we’re opening doors to new opportunities across industries and regions.”
Vaseem Uddin, Chairman and Director of Dikanz, added, “We’re blending cybersecurity training with future technologies like AI, robotics, and aeronautics. This prepares students for the digital world ahead.”
Professor Dr. Syed Jahangir, Founder of Haramain Sharifain University, highlighted the deeper mission. “Cybersecurity is part of the digital age we live in. We’re combining tech education with ethical values to shape future leaders.”
The partnership aims to build a safe, skilled, and ethical digital future—starting right here in Hyderabad, and reaching far beyond.
