Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu emphasized that everyone in Singareni Collieries Company, from junior staff to the top leadership, plays an equal role in driving the company’s growth. He stressed the need for strong discipline and strict rules to support the organization’s progress.
While distributing appointment letters to newly hired employees, Bhatti urged them not to become complacent. He warned that lack of effort could create problems down the line. Instead, he encouraged the new recruits to work with dedication and follow rules carefully.
The Deputy Chief Minister shared that many workers and unions had been asking to raise the age limit for compassionate appointments. Responding to this request, the government acted quickly and with compassion. As a result, hundreds of people who were over the previous 35-year age limit were able to secure jobs.
He highlighted that creating job opportunities, especially for unemployed youth, remains one of the state government’s top priorities. He said that providing employment is key to improving lives and strengthening communities.
Bhatti also spoke about Singareni’s plans to stay competitive in the open market. He urged all workers to help reduce production costs and put in full working hours. This, he said, is essential to keep the company strong and ensure it thrives for future generations.
Looking ahead, Bhatti announced that on June 2, during the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations, more appointment letters will be distributed. These will go to beneficiaries of the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme, which aims to create large-scale self-employment opportunities for young people across the state.
Singareni CMD N. Balaram also spoke at the event. He stated that the Telangana government is fully supporting the growth and success of the company.
