Adilabad: Police discovered a scam involving counterfeit documents and stamps linked to government departments. A father and son, Ladwe Rahul Kumar and Badrinath, were behind the operation. Authorities acted quickly on reliable information and searched their home, leading to a case being filed at the Adilabad Town Police Station.
During the search, officers found fake stamps, chemicals for production, X-ray papers, equipment for creating stamps, computers, hard disks, and fraudulent documents with forged signatures.
These fake papers were used to create conflicts between landowners and fraudsters. The duo also misused government schemes and illegally claimed government lands with fake documents. Special teams are now working to find those who benefited from the counterfeit papers and to press charges against them.
SP Akhil Mahajan stated, “We will take strict measures against individuals who obtained fake documents pretending to be document writers.”
