    Forest Officer Distributes Blankets to Tribal Families in Kagaznagar

    The Forest Divisional Officer (FDO) of Kagaznagar, Bobde Sushant Sukhdev, distributed free blankets to underprivileged tribal families in Pusuguda, Rawanpalli, and Medpalli villages on Tuesday. These blankets were provided to help the residents stay warm during the cold weather. The event took place in the Sirpur Range of the Kagaznagar Forest Division.

    During the distribution, the FDO urged the residents to support efforts to prevent forest fires and protect forest resources. He emphasized the importance of tree plantation drives and asked the community to take care of the saplings they plant. The officer also reminded everyone that harming wildlife is illegal and warned that strict action would be taken against those who install electric wires in fields to harm animals under the pretense of protecting crops.

    The FDO also advised residents living near forested areas to stay cautious, especially in regions with high wildlife activity. He recommended avoiding trips into forest areas during evening hours to ensure safety.

    As part of the program, awareness sessions on forest laws were held for the villagers. The event saw active participation from forest officials, staff members, and local residents, making it a collaborative effort to promote conservation and community welfare.
