Hyderabad – The results for the Telangana Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG ECET) 2025 are out, and an impressive 93.87% of students have passed the exam.
This year, female candidates outperformed males, with a higher success rate. Out of 19,672 students who registered, 18,928 took the test. Among them, 17,768 students qualified.
Breaking it down, girls had a pass percentage of 95.81%, while boys stood at 92.71%. A total of 17,093 girls cleared the exam compared to 11,835 boys.
The results were announced on Sunday by Professor V Balakista Reddy, Chairman of TGCHE, and Professor M Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Osmania University and Chairman of TG ECET. Students can check their scores on the official website: https://ecet.tgche.ac.in.
Several students topped in both engineering and non-engineering streams:
– B Santosh Kumar from Medchal led in BSc Mathematics.
– Lenka Tesjasai from Andhra Pradesh topped in Chemical Engineering.
– Golkonda Nikhil Koushik from Jayashankar Bhupalpally ranked first in Civil Engineering.
– K Srikanth from Narayanpet came top in Computer Science Engineering (CSE).
– Katle Revathi from Siddipet led in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
Other top scorers include:
– Kasula Srinivas from Hanumakonda in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE).
– Raparthi Chandana from Jagtial in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (EIE).
– Pothuganti Karthik from Peddapalli in Mechanical Engineering.
– Thota Subrahmanyam from Andhra Pradesh in Metallurgical Engineering.
– Kurma Akshaya from Peddapalli in Mining Engineering.
– Aili Chandana from Hanumakonda in Pharmacy.
This year’s strong performance, especially by girls, highlights growing academic excellence in Telangana’s technical education sector.
