Gadwal: MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy took a major step to aid farmers by starting the release of irrigation water from the Phase-1 Pump House of the Nettampadu Lift Irrigation Scheme near Guddemdoddi village in Dharur Mandal.

He officially began the water release by switching on the pump house. Before this, he performed a traditional Gangamma Puja. The water will travel through canals to fill tanks, ponds, and other water bodies, helping farmers with their crops.

He promised that water will be available for two crop seasons this year. He praised irrigation officials and expressed hope that farmers will successfully grow both crops with government support.
