Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRA) Commissioner AV Ranganath has urged corporates and NGOs to contribute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds for the development of lakes in the Twin Cities.

Ranganath held a meeting with 72 organisations at his office in Buddha Bhavan to discuss CSR funding. He emphasized that efforts should focus on the complete restoration of lakes rather than just beautification.

The Commissioner highlighted the importance of fully developing the lakes to improve their condition. He mentioned that HYDRA is already working on the complete development of several lakes, including Sunnam Cheruvu, Tammidikunta Cheruvu, Kukatpally Nalla Cheruvu, Uppal Nalla Cheruvu, Bum-Rukh-Ud-Daula Lake, and Bathukamma Kunta.
