The Drugs Control Administration (DCA) in Khammam has discovered an illegal drugs manufacturing facility at the TSHIC Industrial park in Annarugudem village. Acting on reliable information, a team of DCA officers raided an unlicensed premise owned by Aspen Biopharma on December 22. During the investigation, officers found that illicit drugs were being produced at the facility, including Valsartan and Clopidogrel. They seized a total of 935 kg of drugs. Upender Reddy, a close relative of Kadari Sateesh Reddy, who was involved in a similar raid in Hyderabad, was operating the facility. The prime accused, Sateesh Reddy, was also connected to this illegal operation. The raid was carried out with the assistance of local police and samples of the drugs were taken for analysis. Further investigation will be conducted and appropriate legal action will be taken against all offenders.
