Hyderabad: Mahesh Kumar Goud, the president of the PCC, praised Kavitha for leaving the party. He claimed she was used by KCR to distract the public.
At a press meeting in Gandhi Bhavan, Goud suggested that Kavitha combined truths with falsehoods and was possibly manipulated by former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
Goud accused Kavitha of being part of a family feud over corruption profits. He stated, “Kavitha has been involved in corruption for ten years. Had she resigned five years ago, the public might have understood. Her current stance on ethics seems insincere.”
He also implicated Kavitha in corruption during the BRS regime and questioned the involvement of Santosh Rao and Harish Rao. Goud asked, “Why did the focus shift from KTR to Harish? Congress has no reason to support them.”
The TPCC leader emphasized that Congress will not engage with those they consider corrupt and will treat all such individuals equally.
