The Telangana High Court has taken up a petition filed by BRS working president K Taraka Rama Rao (KTR). Justice Kunuru Lakshman issued notices to the State Government and Congress activist Athram Suguna, asking them to respond by March 19.

Suguna, who contested the recent Lok Sabha elections as a Congress candidate, had lodged a complaint against KTR on October 3, 2024. She alleged that during a press conference at the BRS party office, KTR accused the Congress of misusing Rs. 25,000 crore from the Musi Project.

In her complaint to the Utnoor police, Suguna stated that KTR, as an MLA, made baseless accusations against the Congress, which could harm the party’s reputation. Based on her complaint, the police registered FIR 205 of 2024 against KTR.
