The supply of water in some parts of the city will be interrupted for 24 hours from December 13 to December 14. This is because repair works are being carried out by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) from Patancheru to Hydernagar.
Officials from HMWSSB have reported a huge leakage in the 2375 mm dia MS pumping main header pipeline at Kodandapur pumping station in Phase-3 of Krishna Drinking Water Supply Scheme. This pipeline supplies drinking water to Hyderabad city. To fix the leakage, repair work is currently underway. As a result, there will be no water supply in Shastripuram, Bandlaguda, Bhojagutta, and Gachibowli areas for the duration of 24 hours from December 13 at 5 am to December 14 at 5 am.
