Hyderabad: The decision to include first-time MLAs and members of backward communities in the Cabinet showcases the commitment to social justice by the Congress party and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, according to Nagarkurnool MP Mallu Ravi.
While attending an SC and ST Parliamentary Committee meeting in Shimla, Ravi praised the new Ministers Gaddam Vivek Venkatswamy, Vakiti Srihari, and Adluri Laxman Kumar in a statement on Sunday. He noted that this decision aligns with the party’s social responsibility, highlighting the inclusion of members from the Mudiraj community (BC) and the Madiga and Mala (SC) communities, providing them with the chance to serve the public.
“Since taking office, CM Revanth Reddy has prioritized social justice. Initiatives such as conducting a caste census, building Indiramma houses for the poor, providing fine rice to ration card holders, and establishing 100 Integrated Residential schools demonstrate his dedication to uplifting poor and socially marginalized groups,” Ravi stated.
