Hyderabad: The NALSAR University of Law and the Law Commission of India held a conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Law and Justice in India. This event took place today and lasted for one day.
Professor Srikrishna Deva Rao, the Vice-Chancellor of NALSAR University in Hyderabad, highlighted the importance of the conference. He mentioned that the meeting was organized due to the fast advancements in AI and its increasing role in the legal and judicial systems. The Supreme Court of India is already using AI-facilitated tools like SUPACE, which shows the growing importance of AI in law and justice.
He also pointed out that AI-based tools are becoming part of the e-Courts Modernisation Phase-III. Many law firms are adopting these tools, and legal tech start-ups are busy creating AI-based products and services. Around the world, AI is changing how law and justice work in various ways.
