National Girl Child Day Celebrated with Awareness Program in Mahabubnagar

A special program was held at the Girls’ High School in Badepalli village, located in Jadcherla mandal of Mahabubnagar district, to mark the occasion of National Girl Child Day. The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of protecting and empowering girls.

Dr. Shekhar, a well-known pediatrician from Ravi Children’s Hospital, attended as the chief guest. He spoke about the need to focus on the health and well-being of girls, especially during their adolescent years. Dr. Shekhar emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and various measures that should be taken to ensure young girls grow up healthy and strong.

The school’s principal, Smt. Chandrakala, expressed her gratitude for the session. She shared that the program was highly beneficial for students, addressing many of the challenges they face. “We are thankful to Dr. Shekhar and Dr. Mounika from Ravi Children’s Hospital for their valuable insights and contributions,” she said.
