Chintareddy Chandrakala, who is in charge of the committee for women and child welfare, wants to make sure that Anganwadi centers are kept clean. She said this at a meeting in Suryapet on Monday. Chandrakala thinks that the people in charge of these centers should make sure that children are getting the right kind of food so that they can be healthy. She also wants these centers to promote millets.
Chandrakala is worried about child marriages happening in the area. She asked people to call ‘1098’ if they know about any child marriages happening. Many important people joined Chandrakala at the meeting, including G Suresh, Jyoti Padma, Sanjeeva Rao, and Kanna Suramba.
