The Kaleshwaram Saraswati River Pushkaram festival is drawing thousands of devotees from all over Telangana. People are gathering at the Pushkara Ghat to take part in holy river baths, a sacred tradition believed to cleanse sins and bring blessings.
On the third day, the event reached its highest point. Many pilgrims visited the famous Kaleshwaram Mukteswara Swamy Temple to offer prayers after their ritual dip in the river.
Tummala Nageswara Rao, the state’s Agriculture Minister, arrived in Kaleshwaram on Saturday. He traveled by a special helicopter and received a warm welcome from temple priests through the traditional Poornakumbham ritual.
After taking a sacred dip in the river, Minister Rao visited the Mukteswara Swamy shrine to offer his respects. His presence added significance to the celebrations and drew attention to the importance of the festival in the region.
This year’s Pushkaram continues to bring together spiritual seekers, religious leaders, and the general public in a vibrant display of devotion and culture.
