Residents of Secunderabad Cantonment Ward 5 have asked for better drinking water supply in their area. On Thursday, they handed a letter to Madhukar Naik, the chief executive officer of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board.
The locals explained that they currently receive water only four to five days a week. When the water does come, it is supplied with very low pressure and lasts for just 45 to 50 minutes. This short supply is not enough to meet the daily needs of the residents.
To solve this problem, the residents suggested that the Cantonment officials provide water on alternate days. They believe this change would help ensure a more reliable and consistent supply of drinking water for the community.
