    The South Central Railway (SCR) awarded certificates of merit to six of its employees for their quick actions during recent heavy rains. These employees detected damage on the train tracks in time, preventing a serious accident.

    SCR officials also released a booklet titled “Performance & Achievements (2022-23, 2023-24): Two glorious years of excellence.” The booklet highlights the railway’s accomplishments over the past two years.

    Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager of SCR, presented the awards to the following employees for their dedication and alertness: G Mohan, a trackman at Nekkonda; B Jagadeesh, a trackman at Mahbubabad; K Krishna, a trackman at Mahbubabad; B Zailsingh, a bridge man at Mahbubabad; V Saida Naik, a Junior Engineer at Mahbubabad; and P Raja Mouli, a Senior Section Engineer at Mahbubabad.

    These employees played a crucial role in ensuring the safety of train operations by detecting damage on the tracks caused by the heavy rains. Their actions helped avoid a major accident.
