Bhadrachalam: Minister D Anasuya (Seethakka) felt nostalgic during her visit to the Bhadrachalam ITDA Tribal Museum. She reflected on her childhood while observing the tribal artefacts and tools.
She emphasized the deep connection between tribal communities and nature, highlighting their unique cultural traditions and rituals. Seethakka stressed the importance of preserving these traditions and educating the youth to keep tribal culture alive.
During her visit, she explored various exhibits, including paintings, artefacts, and traditional structures like mud houses. She also checked out recreational areas like the children’s playground, boating point, box cricket, and beach volleyball ground.
Seethakka encouraged women to sell pure, unadulterated products like soaps and foods, emphasizing the importance of maintaining trust. She insisted on providing quality tribal cuisine at the stalls near the museum.
She praised local leaders, including MLA Tellam Venkat Rao, District Collector Jitesh V Patil, and ITDA officials for their efforts in establishing the museum. Seethakka promised to discuss tribal issues with Chief Minister A Revnath Reddy and advocated for similar museums across all ITDAs.
The program saw participation from Tricor Chairman, Women and Child Welfare Department Principal Secretary Anitha Ramachandran, and MLAs Payam Venkateswarlu, Dr Tellam Venkata Rao, and Jare Adinarayana.
