Hyderabad – The Swadeshi Jagaran Manch (SJM) has strongly criticized Turkey for providing military aid to Pakistan. The group is urging the Indian government to take firm action, including economic sanctions, banning Turkish flights, and discouraging Indian tourists from visiting Turkey.
According to SJM, Turkey is drifting away from its traditional secular image. As a NATO member, it is now forming deeper ties with radical Islamist regimes and military groups that challenge India’s sovereignty.
The organization pointed out that Turkey’s defense relationship with Pakistan has expanded rapidly. It accused Ankara of supplying advanced military equipment, sharing technology, and even offering military training to Pakistan’s armed forces.
SJM believes these actions threaten India’s national interests. It called on Indian citizens and the government to respond with strong diplomatic and economic measures. The group warned that continued silence may further encourage hostile alliances against India.
By urging a tourism boycott and air travel restrictions, SJM hopes to send a clear message to Turkey. The group emphasized the need for India to prioritize national security and push back against any international support for its adversaries.
