Gadwal: District Superintendent of Police (SP) T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, spoke to Home Guard officers and encouraged them to serve with discipline, dedication, and a strong sense of public service. He said this would help them earn the trust and respect of the community.
The SP met with 53 Home Guards at the Grievance Hall. These officers were recently transferred from Mahabubnagar district to Jogulamba Gadwal district as part of a regular rotation system.
During the meeting, the SP promised that the police department would take care of the Home Guards’ welfare. He said any problems they face during their duties should be reported, and the department would take quick action to resolve them.
He advised the Home Guards to stay disciplined, take care of their physical and mental health, and remain alert and responsible in their daily tasks. He also told them to follow orders from their senior officers and give their best in their assigned roles.
The SP announced that starting today, the Home Guards would begin working in different departments. These include:
– MT Section (Motor Transport)
– General Duty
– Blue Colts (mobile patrol units)
– Traffic Division
– Dispatch/Postal Duties
He encouraged them to use this opportunity to improve their skills and gain experience in the various areas they are posted.
SP Srinivas Rao ended the session by expressing confidence that the Home Guards would carry out their responsibilities with honesty and dedication. He said their efforts would help build a good image of the police department in the eyes of the public.
The meeting was also attended by DSP of Armed Forces Mr. Narender Rao, RI Mr. Venkatesh, RSI Mr. Vijay Bhaskar, and other staff and Home Guard officers from Mahabubnagar district.
This meeting is seen as a positive step by the Jogulamba Gadwal police to improve teamwork, support their staff, and maintain strong law enforcement in the district.
