Gadwal: District Collector B.M. Santosh stated that students finishing their courses at the new Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) will get job chances.
During a meeting at the Collectorate’s video conference hall on Thursday, he highlighted that the Telangana Government has upgraded traditional ITIs into modern tech centers, featuring advanced labs and Industry 4.0 machinery.
This year, the district offers 172 seats. Officials must finalize admissions in a week. Every mandal should enroll at least 15 students. Panchayat Secretaries are tasked with raising awareness in villages. The District Education Officer will provide a list of students who passed 10th grade. School dropouts and ITI graduates are also encouraged to apply for better job opportunities.
The Collector mentioned that six specialized courses at ATCs guarantee jobs for trainees. Hostel-based SC, ST, BC, and Minority students will receive free mid-day meals. There’s no admission fee. Applications can be submitted online through the Telangana ITI admissions portal using SSC/Transfer Certificate and Aadhaar.
For questions, candidates can reach Government ITI principals at 7095930577 or 8500464782. Training includes expert guidance with practical exposure on modern machines. Graduates will get job placement aid with top companies or can start their own businesses.
After the meeting, the Collector unveiled a promotional poster for the ATC training programs.
