The Hyderabad Meteorological Centre has warned that thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds are expected in several districts of Telangana from April 12th to 14th. In Hyderabad, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said the sky will stay partly cloudy until April 16th. Foggy mornings are also expected through next Wednesday.
On Friday, Musheerabad in Hyderabad recorded a high temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius. The hottest place in the state was Nizamabad, where the temperature reached 43.3 degrees Celsius. Because of the expected weather changes, a yellow alert has been issued for many districts in Telangana until April 14th.
With rain in the forecast, officials believe temperatures will drop slightly over the next two to three days. Scattered rain showers are likely to continue during this time. Farmers growing crops such as chillies, rice, corn, and mangoes are advised to take precautions, as sudden rain and thunder may affect their fields.
