Young woman, aged 20, feared dead after plunging into Durgam Cheruvu in Hyderabad

A 20-year-old woman from Gulbarga, Karnataka, reportedly committed suicide by jumping into Durgam Cheruvu in Hyderabad on Thursday evening. The woman, identified as Payal, had gone to DMart in the afternoon and later went to the cable bridge where she jumped into the lake. Local residents who saw her alerted the police. The patrol police, along with the DRF teams and fire department, are searching for her body. An investigation is underway.
