An eight-year-old boy’s dead body was found in Allauddin Koti on Thursday, which shocked the residents of Sanathnagar. The police have taken a suspect named Imran, who is a transgender person, into custody. It was suspected that a financial issue might be the reason for the crime. However, the child’s family and locals claimed that Imran killed the boy as part of a human sacrifice because Thursday was a new moon day. As of now, there is no evidence of this claim, but all possible angles are being investigated.

According to police sources, Imran is suspected of killing the child by strangulation and then drowning his head in a bucket filled with water. After confirming that the child had died, Imran and an auto-rickshaw driver stuffed the body in a bag and threw it in the nala at Moosapet. Indications of human sacrifice were allegedly found at the spot. The body was retrieved from the nala and sent to the hospital for an autopsy.

The Sanathnagar police are investigating the case, and further details are awaited.
