Andhra Pradesh government advisor, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, stated that there is no sympathy for former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest in the Skill Development case. The ACB court believes Naidu had a role in the scam and has remanded him.

Sajjala criticized the Telugu Desam Party for trying to use Naidu’s arrest as a sympathy card in the next elections. He mentioned that people already believe Naidu’s involvement in the case and that a top businessman organized the party’s event in Hyderabad.

Sajjala also referred to the arrest of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in 2012 and clarified that they proved all the cases against him were politically motivated. He claimed that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy never sought sympathy during his arrest, and even former CBI JD Lakshminarayana admitted there was no corruption in the case.

The government advisor emphasized that a political party can only exist if it serves the people. He highlighted that the YSRCP has been working for the people for the past 13 years and despite losing the 2014 elections, they achieved an unprecedented victory in 2019.
