Hyderabad: The Chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari, has given instructions to the Heads of Departments (HoDs) of various government departments. She asked them to speed up the process of creating the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in all districts.
This decision comes because of the severe weather conditions affecting the state. Floods have been causing problems for many people. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has told officials to set up SDRF teams in districts, similar to the ones already in place in Hyderabad.
During a review meeting at the Secretariat, Santhi Kumari asked the officials to collect detailed information about the damage caused by the floods. She also asked them to include GPS coordinates of the affected areas and submit a report as soon as possible.
