Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will officially launch the new ‘Bhoobharati’ digital land management system today at 5 PM. This system is designed to make land records and services in the state more transparent and efficient.
The Bhoobharati system has already been tested in a few areas—Sagar, Tirumalagiri, and Keesara—as part of pilot projects. The full launch across the state is planned for June 2, which is Telangana Formation Day.
The platform is built to handle large numbers of users at once. Its servers can work smoothly even if up to one crore people log in at the same time. The system’s logo features Telangana Talli, a symbol of the state’s cultural heritage.
Before the launch, CM Revanth Reddy is holding an important meeting with district collectors to go over the rollout strategy and ensure smooth implementation.
The government has also warned people not to spread false information about the Bhoobharati system. Officials have said that strict action will be taken against those who try to mislead the public. Additionally, an audit will soon be conducted to review past issues with the earlier Dharani land system.
