Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is holding a series of meetings with top officials ahead of the official launch of the new Bhu Bharati portal, which will replace the current Dharani portal on Monday. He said this new portal will be dedicated to the nation and asked officials to ensure it is secure and reliable.
The Chief Minister explained that the government has introduced a new law called the Record of Rights (ROR) Act. This law supports the launch of Bhu Bharati, which aims to solve many issues caused by the Dharani portal. He said the new system will make it easier and faster for farmers to access their land records. Services like land registrations, property changes, and hereditary registrations can also be done using this portal. “I am happy to tell all farmers that Bhu Bharati will be a permanent solution to many old land-related problems,” he added.
On Sunday, the Chief Minister held another review meeting with officials at his residence in Jubilee Hills. This meeting took place just one day before the portal’s launch. He told the officials that Bhu Bharati should be easy for common people to understand and not just be a short-term fix. He said the portal is built to last for at least 100 years using the latest technology. He also asked the officials to take extra care with security and to hand over the portal’s management to a trustworthy organization.
The government plans to start using the portal in three selected mandals as a pilot project. The Chief Minister said that feedback from people will be collected and used to improve the system. He also stressed the importance of running awareness programs in all mandals to help people learn how to use the portal. “The Bhu Bharati website should be simple for any farmer to use. It should be modern and safe, as it is expected to serve the public for a very long time,” said Revanth Reddy.
