Khanapur – Local Market Committee Chairman Padigala Bhushan has called on farmers to make full use of the government-run paddy purchase centres in the region.

On Monday, he officially opened new paddy procurement centres in the villages of Maskapur, Surjapur, and Medam Pally. These centres have been launched under the supervision of IKP (Indira Kranthi Patham) to help farmers sell their Rabi season paddy.

Bhushan urged farmers from nearby areas to bring their harvested crops to these centres. He reminded them that the government is offering a minimum support price, and by selling at these centres, they can receive fair payment.
