Hyderabad Police Starts Women’s Horse Patrol and Grows Dog Squad

The Hyderabad Police has introduced a new women’s horse patrol team. This team includes ten trained women officers who will handle patrolling, assist in VIP duties, and oversee public events. Police Chief C.V. Anand emphasized that this initiative aims to involve more women in active police roles.

Additionally, the police department is expanding its dog squad. The number of trained dogs will increase from 34 to 54. These dogs are crucial for detecting bombs, locating drugs, and finding missing individuals.

A new training center is also being developed. This facility will cover 11.5 acres and will include kennels, stables, and a parade ground.
