The ITDA Project Officer in Bhadrachalam, Prateek Jain, encouraged tribal youths to start small businesses and become entrepreneurs to support themselves and others. He recently inaugurated an organic country chicken farm set up by an unemployed tribal youth named Kodi Nagaraju in Manugur mandal. Nagaraju invested Rs 16 lakh with the help of friends to start the farm.
Jain praised Nagaraju for taking initiative and starting his own business instead of waiting for government jobs. He emphasized the importance of creating opportunities for employment and supporting families. Jain urged other youths in the area to follow Nagaraju’s example and start their own small scale industries to earn a living.
During the event, Jain also planted a sapling and encouraged villagers to plant more saplings, especially mahua plants which can help them economically. Earlier in the day, he inspected ongoing construction work of residential quarters on the ITDA premises. He instructed officials to speed up the construction to make the houses available for staff use.
Jain also emphasized the need to improve playgrounds for children and maintain cleanliness in the ITDA surroundings for the comfort of staff and visitors. APO (General) David Raj and other officials were present during the inspection.
