Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, has called for the development of Kodimyala mandal and the Karimnagar Parliament constituency in all areas, putting politics aside.
On Tuesday, he inaugurated a new road in Kodimyala mandal, built at a cost of ₹65 lakh. The road connects the Shivaji Statue to Angadi Bazaar. He was joined by local Congress MLA Medipalli Satyam and former MLA Bodige Shobha for the event.
Bandi Sanjay also visited several other development works in the Kodimyala mandal center. These included roads and infrastructure projects funded by the Central government, costing ₹3.5 crore. He inspected cement concrete (CC) roads in different village panchayats, which were constructed for ₹2.59 crore.
In addition to roads, he reviewed other projects like kitchen sheds, community halls, and PACS buildings, all funded through the MP Local Area Development (LAD) scheme. Speaking to the media, Bandi Sanjay said that real progress can be made when everyone works together, regardless of political differences.
He assured that the Choppadandi Assembly constituency will see all-around development. To help with this, he said efforts will be made to secure more funds from the Central government in the future.
Bandi Sanjay also commented on a recent fire accident at a school in Singapore, where Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan’s son, Mark Shankar, is studying. He posted on social media platform X, praying to Ammavaru (a Hindu goddess) for the safety of all the children and expressing hope that Mark Shankar is safe and well.
