Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao has shared his thoughts on the future of Indian politics. He believes that both the BJP and Congress will struggle to reach a majority on their own in the 2029 Lok Sabha elections.

Rama Rao was responding to the recent election results in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that these results show trends that might be seen in upcoming elections in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, and Delhi.

He emphasized that strong regional parties will play a crucial role in forming the next central government. This influence of regional parties, he said, could last for at least another decade.

Rama Rao also criticized the Congress party, accusing them of making false promises. He claimed that while Congress managed to mislead the people of Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh, and Telangana with various “guarantees,” the people of Haryana saw through their lies.
