Hyderabad: The Congress Party is focusing on social justice, said PCC President B Mahesh Kumar Goud. He highlighted that 70% of the new TPCC executive committee positions are given to Backward Classes (BCs), Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), minorities, and women. During the ‘Jai Samvidhan’ rally in Shadnagar, he noted that the Congress also reflects this social justice in cabinet roles. A person from a Backward Class, two from Scheduled Castes, and a Scheduled Tribe representative as Deputy Speaker have been included.

The Congress Party is dedicated to protecting the Constitution, promoting social justice, and maintaining national unity. To challenge the BJP's divisive politics, the Congress is expanding its ‘Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan’ campaign from local to national levels. Goud accused Union Home Minister Amit Shah of disrespecting Dr. B R Ambedkar in Parliament, suggesting that the BJP aims to replace the Constitution with the Manusmriti. He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah’s actions threaten national unity.

A large rally started from MLA Veerlapalli Shankar's office to Eden Gardens, drawing a significant crowd. Goud criticized Prime Minister Modi's claims about conflict with Pakistan, asserting that he retreated after President Donald Trump intervened. He compared this to Indira Gandhi's leadership during the 1971 war, where 92,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered. Goud argued that Modi is more interested in power than the country’s welfare. The Congress demands clarity on what India gained or lost in Modi’s alleged war with Pakistan.
