In Hyderabad, Dr. Mahesh Konagala, a spokesperson for the PCC, has been chosen as the honorary president of the Telangana Dharani Employees Association. This decision was made during a State-level executive meeting on Sunday.
The Congress party announced that the decision to elect Dr. Mahesh Konagala was unanimous. After taking on this new role, Dr. Konagala promised to work diligently for the benefit of the Dharani employees. He stated his commitment to acting as a bridge to bring their issues to the government’s attention and do his best to resolve them.
While speaking to the media, Dr. Konagala criticized the former Chief Minister and his family, accusing them of taking over valuable lands under the Dharani initiative.
He pointed out that the previous administration neglected the Dharani employees, leaving their salaries unpaid for nearly a year. However, he praised the current Congress government, led by Revanth Reddy, for clearing nine months of pending salaries in one go.
