    Hyderabad: Megha Engineering and Infrastructures Limited (MEIL) has started work on the Young India Skills University buildings at Net Zero Valley, located in Meerkhanpet, Kandukur Mandal, Ranga Reddy district.

    The foundation stone was laid during a special ceremony. Key people from MEIL, including Director Ravi P Reddy, Vice President G Shiva Kumar, and project managers Madan Kumar and Venkateshwarulu, were present. Other team members also attended to show their support.

    The new university buildings will follow global standards and focus on reducing carbon emissions. The project will include various facilities like an academic block, administration block, library, auditorium, modern classrooms, and laboratories. All necessary infrastructure will be built to create an excellent learning environment.

    MEIL Director Ravi P Reddy expressed the company’s commitment to supporting education. He shared that their Managing Director, PV Krishna Reddy, has pledged Rs 200 crore for the project. He also mentioned that they aim to complete the first phase of construction by Telangana Formation Day next year.

    Vice President G Shiva Kumar emphasized MEIL’s focus on sustainability. He explained that the buildings will be designed with a zero-carbon footprint. The open-air system will provide good ventilation, making air conditioning unnecessary and ensuring an eco-friendly environment.
