A team of experts from the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) arrived in Hyderabad to investigate irregularities in the construction of Medigadda barrage and damage to Medigadda and Annaram barrages. State irrigation officials are anxious as the team plans to thoroughly question them on the issue.

The NDSA team will visit the barrages to study the damage and examine the quality of construction, amid allegations of sub-standard work.
