Hyderabad – NTT DATA and Neysa Networks have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to set up an AI Data Center Cluster in Hyderabad. The project entails an investment of ₹10,500 crore and aims to position Hyderabad as a leading hub for AI-driven digital services.
The MoU was formalized during Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s visit to Japan, with senior executives from Tokyo-based NTT DATA and Neysa Networks in attendance. The upcoming facility will feature a 400 MW data center cluster equipped with 25,000 GPUs, making it the largest AI compute infrastructure in India.
This collaboration combines NTT DATA’s global expertise in data centers with Neysa’s AI acceleration platform. The initiative is expected to drive innovation in AI and create a vibrant ecosystem for AI-first solutions in Telangana.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy highlighted that this investment adds to recent major data center announcements by AWS, STT, Tillman Holdings, and CtrlS, reinforcing Hyderabad’s leadership in the sector. He emphasized that Telangana offers policy stability, strategic location advantages, high-quality electric power, skilled talent, and quick clearances through a single-window system—all of which foster critical AI infrastructure.
The establishment of this AI Data Center Cluster is anticipated to significantly contribute to the state’s economy, enhance its digital infrastructure, and create numerous employment opportunities in the technology sector.
